Campaign Story

Hi, my name is Jade Palmer. I’m a 26-year-old mom to an amazing little boy, and our journey to grow our family has been anything but easy.

My fertility journey began in 2017 — my senior year of high school — when doctors discovered a 10 cm teratoma/cyst on my left ovary. Before surgery could take place, the ovary experienced torsion, cutting off blood supply and causing me to lose my left ovary.

In 2021, despite everything, I unexpectedly became pregnant with our son — our miracle baby. We welcomed him in April 2022. During my pregnancy, however, another large cyst began growing. By July 2022, I underwent surgery to remove a 15 cm cyst from my remaining ovary. During surgery, doctors discovered my ovary had twisted five times. By some miracle, the blood supply had not been cut off, and my ovary was saved.

In October 2023, my husband — who is also my son’s father — and I got married and immediately began trying for baby #2. After over a year without a positive pregnancy test, we began seeking answers in November 2024.

We completed multiple diagnostic tests and medicated cycles, but unfortunately, none were successful. In April 2025, we received the diagnosis of “unexplained infertility.” We later met with a fertility clinic, where we were told we could attempt IUI, but IVF would likely give us the best chance at having another child.

Then, in 2026, I began experiencing pain near my right ovary — my only ovary. After CT scans, ultrasounds, and multiple appointments, doctors believed another teratoma was causing the pain, and surgery was recommended.

In May 2026, I underwent surgery terrified I could lose my remaining ovary. Thankfully, my ovary was healthy — another miracle. However, doctors discovered that my fallopian tube was completely blocked, dilated, and inflamed. They recommended another surgery to remove the tube and informed us that IVF is now our only chance at having the second miracle baby we’ve been praying for.

Anyone who knows us knows how deeply we love being parents. Our son constantly asks and prays for “a baby,” and it breaks our hearts knowing how difficult this journey has become.

IVF is an emotional and financial challenge, and any donation — no matter the amount — would help bring us one step closer to completing our family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting us, praying for us, and walking alongside us through this journey.

With love & gratitude – The Palmers
